Privacy Policy
Amin Automotive Group Ltd (company number 17010676, 116 Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey, EN9 1JH) is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website and in our showroom. This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect and why

Who we share it with
- Service providers who host our systems: Netlify (website hosting) and Supabase (secure database), both under contract and only to process data for us.
- AutoTrader, if your enquiry came through their platform, so the conversation stays in one place.
- Finance lenders and brokers, only if you apply for finance, and only the details needed for your application.
- Warranty Solutions Group, if you take a warranty, so they can set up your policy.
- DocuSeal, used to send sale documents for electronic signature.
- DVLA, HMRC and our accountant, where the law requires it.
We never sell your information and we never share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a sale: 12 months, then deleted.
- Driving licence photos: deleted once the sale completes or the reservation is cancelled, and in any case within 30 days.
- Sale, invoice and finance records: 6 years, because tax and FCA rules require it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, or object to how we use it. Email sales@aminautomotive.co.uk or write to the address above. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
Your details are stored in a database that only our staff can reach through password and PIN protected systems, over encrypted connections. Driving licence images are kept in private storage and are never published.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
